RB Leipzig defender Ilaix Moriba has joined Spanish top-tier LaLiga side Getafe CF on loan until summer 2024.
The 20-year-old Guinea international was previously out on loan in the Spanish league in the last two seasons.
Ilaix Moriba played 46 competitive games for Valencia CF between January 2022 and June 2023. Getafe CF currently sit eighth in the Spanish top division with 26 points.
RB Leipzig sporting director Rouven Schröder said, “We wish Ilaix all the best and lots of success in the next six months! He’s conducted himself impeccably here and put in good shifts in training. Now it’s just important for him to get lots of game time. Getafe have promised him that and really wanted Ilaix.”
