Struggling German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have agreed to appoint Domenico Tedesco on Thursday. December 9. The 36-year-old has signed a contract until June 30, 2023 as he replaces Jesse Marsch. RB Leipzig and Jesse Marsch had agreed to go their separate ways last Sunday.
Andreas Hinkel and Max Urwantschky will follow Tedesco to Leipzig as his assistants. They will join the existing staff members Marco Kurth (assistant coach), goalkeeper coach Frederik Gößling and fitness coaches Ruwen Faller, Kai Kraft and Daniel Behlau.
Assistant coach Achim Beierlorzer is no longer part of the coaching team. After good and constructive discussions, it was agreed that he would depart the club. RB Leipzig would like to thank Achim Beierlorzer for his hard work over the last five months, as well as for his readiness to step in as interim coach. We wish him all the best for the future!
