I-League side RoundGlass Punjab FC have announced the signing of Spanish playmaker Juan Mera from NEROCA FC for the 2022/23 season.
28 year old Gijon-born Juan Mera González played for Antonio Machado and CD Roces before joining the Academy of Sporting Gijon.
Juan Mera made his senior debut with Sporting Gijon B, where he spend six seasons. Thereafer he played for Celta de Cigo B (2016/17), Racing Club de Ferrol (2017/18), CD Teruel (2018/19), SD Leioa (2019) before coming to India to play for Quess East Bengal in the 2019/20 season.
Juan Mera returned to play for Club Deportivo Lealtad de Villaviciosa before heading to India for a second time to join NEROCA FC last season.
Now Juan Mera stays in the I-League but moves on to join RoundGlass Punjab FC.
