RoundGlass Punjab FC retain keeper Kiran Chemjong of Nepal!

RoundGlass Punjab FC have announced that their Nepali goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong has been retained for the 2020/21 season.

30 year old Dhankuta-born Kiran Chemjong is a product of the ANFA Academy who went on to play for Machhindra FC at senior level before making the move across to Three Star Club, spending seven seasons with them.

By this time, Kiran had established himself as one of South Asia’s best goalkeepers and made a move to Manang Marshyangdi Club before shifting to Maldives’ side TC Sports Club.

Thereafter in January 2018, Kiran moved to I-League side Minerva Punjab FC and helped the club to lift the I-League trophy. After another stint with TC Sports Club, Kiran rejoined Minerva Punjab FC for the 2019/20 I-League.

Kiran Chemjong said, “RoundGlass Punjab FC is a wonderful club and I am delighted to extend my contract for another successful season.”
