The Goa Professional League winners Salgaocar FC will clash with the Goa Police Cup champions FC Bardez in the Goa Champions Trophy Charity Match on Sunday, August 27 at the Duler Stadium in Mapusa at 4pm.
The Tickets for the Charity match will be priced at Rs 50 for all the stands while the tickets for VIP stand will be priced at Rs 200.
Both the teams met in last years Goa Pro League with the champions Salgaocar FC having won both the home and away games against FC Bardez.
Salgaocar FC having a strong squad will come out full guns blazing against the Pink Brigade and will try to get the season opening win.
FC Bardez will continue to be coached by experienced Armando Colaco and managed by Andrew Gomes. FC Bardez have made drastic changes to their squad by only five players retained from the 2016/17 season squad in Jessel Carneiro, Lenstan Afonso, Shubham Rao Dessai, Kritikesh Gadekar and Jesmon Soares.
Despite having a bad record against Salgaocar FC, FC Bardez will be in good hopes to win the match and get their first victory of the season head of the AWES Cup tournament which is starting on September 1.
