The Salgaocar FC Under-16 boys scored five past Quelossim SC U-16s in their Goa U-16 league match played at Cansaulim Football ground.
Both teams had a great start with strong and swift attacks from both sides. Quelossim SC came close when a fierce strike was caught by the keeper Vellyo Silva where the crowd thought It was going in. Sevon Silva broke the dead lock with a header beating past the Quelossim keeper from a corner kick.
At the break it stood 1-0 for Salgaocar FC.
In the second half The Green Brigades Aman Rajbhar caught the Quelossim SC keeper of his line and scored from 30 yards out. Aman Rakbhar added to the scoreline two minutes later with a solo run down the flank cutting in and curling the ball in the bottom corner from the corner of the box making it his second and third for Salgaocar FC.
Ameya Kanadikar was brought in for Sevon Silva who added two more goals in the 66th and 80th minute giving Salgaocar FC a comfortable win. Quelossim SC did not allow Salgaocar FC to go home with a clean sheet. Quelossim were awarded with a spot kick where the referee caught the defender handle the ball in the box. The striker made no mistake in placing the ball in the opposite side of the diving keeper.
