Indian Super League newcomers SC East Bengal have announced the return of India international left-back Narayan Das ahead of the 2020/21 season.
27-year old Narayan Das born in Tribeni, West Bengal is a former cadet of the Tata Football Academy and has represented the Indian senior squad 29 times while scoring one goal.
Narayan started his senior career with Pailan Arrows back in 2012, before moving onto represent the likes of Dempo SC and East Bengal (twice) in the I-League. The India international has also for FC Goa, FC Pune City, Delhi Dynamos and Odisha FC in the ISL.
Narayan Das said, “Having donned the Red and Gold before, I know what it feels like to play for SC East Bengal. I am over the moon to sign for this club, which is a hundred years old. I have grown up watching East Bengal play and cannot wait to take the field and put my best foot forward.”
Narayan Das returns to East Bengal for a third stint and will hope to resurrect his career which has been stagnating in recent seasons.
