Sevilla FC & Stade Rennes reach principle agreement on loan deal for Loic Bade!

Sevilla FC and Stade Rennais FC have reached an agreement in principle which would see Loïc Badé join the club on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Should the deal be completed, the 22-year old defender would be Sevilla FC’s first signing of the winter transfer window, and he is known for being good in the air and playing the ball out from the back.

At the end of the season, Sevilla FC will have the option to make the move permanent.

Badé made his professional debut just under three years ago for Ligue 2 outfit FC Le Havre, before moving to top-flight side RC Lens ahead of the 2020/21 season.

After a successful season with the Northern French side, making 31 league appearances and another two in the Coupe de France, he made the move to Stade Rennais for the 2021/22 campaign.

He has made 22 appearances for the Breton side, which includes his European debut as he made five appearances in the UEFA Europa Conference League. He played fourteen times in Ligue 1 and twice in the Coupe de France, and added one goal and two assists in all competition.

After his first Ligue 1 appearance of this season, he joined newly-promoted Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

Loic Badé also has three U-21 caps with France, with those appearances coming in the U-21 EURO qualifiers.
