Soccerex Global Convention: Changes & Additions for 2016!

SoccerexFollowing the success of the changes implemented in 2015, including the restructuring of the event layout and the introduction of the Academy, for 2016 Soccerex have made a few minor additions to further enhance the networking, insight and social opportunities provided by the Soccerex Global Convention!

Academy Networking Lounge

Situated on the exhibition floor, The Academy is our centre of learning with a programme of insight presentations & best practice panel discussions grouped together to deliver blocks of expert content for each of the four core sectors.

New for 2016 is an extension to the Academy structure that will host focused networking sessions linked to the grouped block of content that precede them, offering enhanced and better targeted networking opportunities. Presenting companies within the academy will receive a branded space within the Academy Networking Lounge, affording them a platform to better engage with the different interested businesses that saw them speak.

Club Masterclasses

To enhance the learning and business development opportunities provided for clubs attending the Soccerex Global Convention, we will be hosting a series of Masterclass sessions, exclusively for football club representatives on how to drive revenues and improve the business streams. The masterclasses will be provided by some of the foremost experts in their respective fields looking at subjects like maximising the value of your content, optimising your match day revenues and understanding the value of your sponsorship properties. .

The masterclasses will be small, intimate sessions to provide the best opportunity for learning and all clubs registered for the event will be invited to attend with places allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Love Football Zone

Building on the success of the Corporate Social Opportunity (CSO) Zone, the concept has been rebranded for 2016 to be called the “Love Football Zone” with the focus broadened to cover all the elements of the beautiful game other than elite men’s football. Whether it is women’s, grassroots or disability football, the zone will showcase how the sport makes a positive impact in the lives of so many different people and communities all around the world.

The zone will retain the same structure as in previous years with content grouped by subject matter and a programme spread across all the three days of the Convention.

To ensure the continued development of the zone, a new working group has been established, featuring a selection of industry stakeholders with significant experience across a number of relevant sectors. More information on the working group will be published in due course.
