The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) held their first annual general assembly after the election of the new executive committee on Tuesday, April 30.
Originally scheduled to be held in Colombo, the meeting was shifted to the Nepali capital Kathmandu after the Sri Lanka bomb blasts.
The South Asian Football Federation decided to grant India the hosting rights for the 2019 SAFF U-15 Championship from August 22 to 31, while the 2019 SAFF U-18 Championship will be held in Nepal from September 20 to 29.
The SAFF U-15 Championship and SAFF U-18 Championship will be preparations for the south Asian youth teams ahead of the AFC U-16 Championship qualifiers and the AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers.
Meanwhile the SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship would be played from October 9 to 18 with either Bhutan or Bangladesh as hosts.
