With the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup – Costa Rica just one week away, the full squads for the 16 participating teams have now been published, as anticipation mounts for the first of two FIFA women’s youth tournaments taking place this year.
Following an exciting month of women’s football around the world and with the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup also fast approaching, the world’s brightest emerging talents and future superstars of the women’s game will take to the field at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica from August 10 to 28.

The 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup – Costa Rica will kick-off with a spectacular opening day on August 10, which will see Germany play Colombia and New Zealand meet Mexico.
The opening day will conclude with two huge Group A matches with Brazil playing Spain, and host nation Costa Rica playing their opening match against Australia.
The winners of the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be crowned 18 days later, with the final set to take place at San José’s Estadio Nacional on Sunday, August 28.
