The Football Association of Odisha (FAO) has announced that they have appointed Subrata Bhattacharya Jr as the Chief Coach of the Odisha state senior men’s football team for the upcoming Santosh Trophy.
Subrata Bhattacharya Jr, who is from Bengal, has an AFC ‘A’ License Coaching degree to his name and has coached sides like Mohammedan Sporting Club, Vasco SC, Southern Samity, Oil India Limited, ONGC, Ar-Hima FC, and Mumbai FC.
At the state level Subrata Bhattacharya Jr has coached the Bengal Under-14 boys, the Assam junior boy and the Nagaland senior state team.
Surojeet Ghosh of SAI- STC, Cuttack; Suraj Thappa of NALCO; Saroj Das of State Bank of India have been appointed as the assistant coaches of the team while Anindya Deb of East Coast Railway has been named as the Goalkeeping Coach.
