Subrata Pal joins ATK Mohun Bagan for rest of ISL-8!

Former Indian Super League champions ATK Mohun Bagan have announced the on loan signing of experienced goalkeeper Subrata Pal from Hyderabad FC for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.

Subrata Pal has been brought in as cover with the Mariners No. 2 goalkeeper Avilash Paul currently injured and No.1 Amrinder Singh not having the best of seasons.

35 year old Sodepur-born Subrata Pal is a product of the Tata Football Academy, who went on to play for Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC and East Bengal Club before playing for Pune FC, Prayag United FC, Rangdajied United FC, FC Vestsjælland (Denmark), Mumbai City FC, Salgaocar FC, NorthEast United FC, DSK Shivajians FC and Jamshedpur FC.

In 2020, Subrata signed for Hyderabad FC but spend part of last season on loan with SC East Bengal and was without a team this term. Now the former India No.1 returns in a way to the Mariners, whom he had left nearly 15 years ago.
