Borussia Dortmund signs Justin Lerma (16) from Ecuadorian first division club Independiente del Valle.
BVB will transfer the talented 16-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder after he turns 18 for the 2026/27 season. Until then, Lerma, who made his debut in his country’s top league this season at the age of 15, will develop at his home club in Ecuador.
“We have been following Justin for some time and have been in close contact with the player and his family ever since. Justin stands out as one of the best players in his age group in South America and we are happy to have secured an exceptional talent for Borussia Dortmund,” said sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
