The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced the launch of its first official mobile app, AFC LIVE, which is available now on the iOS and Android app stores. The app is set to become the new mobile home of AFC news, highlights, stats, live updates and more.
Fans can now download the app and activate notifications to receive minute-by-minute updates on selected AFC teams and competitions. They can also access detailed match information from the AFC competitions, including line-ups, kick-off times, standings, and events. The app provides fans with AFC news and information in one convenient hub that they can access on the go.
Datuk Seri Windsor John, the AFC General Secretary, said: “Asia is home not only to the largest football community in the world, but it is also one of the world’s fastest-growing regions in digital device adoption.
“We know that football today is consumed through a myriad of platforms, including mobile devices, so it is essential that we embrace the latest in technology to strengthen our engagement with fans by enhancing the AFC’s digital offerings.
“The AFC LIVE app further underlines the AFC’s ambitions of confirming football as the Continent’s number one sport by ensuring the riveting action and excitement of Asian football is accessible to passionate fans anytime, anywhere.”
Fans are invited to download the AFC LIVE app from the IOS and Android app stores and enjoy the best of Asian football, starting with the 2023 AFC U-17 Asian Cup – Thailand (June 15-July 2).
