Exhibited on Saturday evening at the Algiers Opera House on the draw for the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship Algeria 2022, the CHAN trophy has aroused some covetousness.
Coaches, players, members of the African football family and political personalities all took part in the photo session with the “real star” of the tournament.
Only four teams have had the privilege of winning the trophy reserved for players playing in their national leagues: DR Congo (2009 and 2016), Morocco (2018 and 2020), Tunisia (2011) and Libya (2014).
The next TotalEnergies CHAN will take place in Algeria from January 13 to February 04, 2023.
