The Football Business Academy and Santos de Guápiles have entered into an agreement that will see the global leader in football business education and the Costa Rican professional football club collaborate.
“We are happy to welcome Santos de Guápiles into our network and continue growing our collaborations in Central America. Costa Rica is a country extremely passionate about football and we believe that together with the club we will be able to keep developing and innovating the industry in the region,” said Marcin Chmielewski, Head of Partnerships, The FBA.
“We are honoured to work together with The FBA, and to be able to give our organization a bigger structure in order to improve every day. Santos is a big organization with big achievements in the recent past, and we are very sure that with the support of The FBA, we will continue to grow,” said Kiang Yep, Manager, Santos de Guápiles.
Founded in 1961, the Asociación Deportiva Santos, commonly known as Santos de Guápiles (or by its nickname “Rojiblancos”) competes at Liga Fútbol Primera División, First Division League organised by the FBA partner UNAFUT. The club holds their home matches at the Estadio Ebal Rodríguez in the Guápiles region.
The FBA’s Professional Master in Football Business selects Candidates from diverse academic and professional backgrounds who are exposed to real industry knowledge, networking opportunities and practical experience through the 12-months program.
With this mutually beneficial alliance we seek to collaborate on topics of strategic interest that will unlock valuable opportunities for both organisations, ensuring not just a holistic learning environment for Master Candidates – future industry professionals – through internships and Student Business Projects; but also a variety of synergies aligned to the club’s business plan and development strategies while enriching their teams with a high-quality talent pool. In addition, as the newest member of The FBA Family, Santos de Guápiles will also benefit from joining our global network with more than 60 Partners from the industry.
