Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the AIFF is set to schedule their India U-15 boys national team camp. Three talented young footballers from Minerva Academy – Kartik Choudhary, Akshay Raaj and Chaman – have been shortlisted by the AIFF to join the camp. All three players played for Minerva Academy Football Club in the JCT U-21 Youth League recently.

The AIFF U-15 camp is mainly being held to prepare the Indian national team for the AFC U-16 Championship, which is the qualifying tournament for the 2023 FIFA U-20 FIFA World Cup.

Minerva Academy is currently home to more than 160 players across various age categories at the Minerva Academy Football Club campus in Mohali. The stupendous infrastructure of the campus boasts two full-size football fields, six small sided games fields, hostels, mess, gymnasium, swimming pool, physiotherapy and wellness clinic, basketball court, auditorium and classrooms among other things.

As another three players from Minerva Academy have been shortlisted for the aforementioned India camp, the club continues to push boundaries and reach new heights of success.

The AIFF U-15 camp, which was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will be held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
