Tim Müller has signed his first professional contract at 1.FSV Mainz 05. The 19-year-old left-back and current U-23 player, who won the A-Junioren Bundesliga title with the Mainz 05 U-19s, has received a contract until June 30, 2026.
Mainz 05 sporting director Martin Schmidt said, “Tim made the step up from the U19s to the U23s last summer and has managed the transition from boys’ to men’s football very well, becoming a key part of the defence straight away in his first year. He brings all the qualities a modern full-back needs, so we’re very pleased that he’ll continue his development with us here in Mainz and that we’ve been able to honour another academy product with a professional contract.”
