As part of CONCACAF’s protocols to resume the 2020 Scotiabank CONCACAF League (SCL), extensive Covid-19 testing is carried out on each club’s players and traveling staff, and all match officials, prior to each match.
FC Motagua (HON) vs Real Esteli FC (NCA)
In the case of the SCL Play-In match between FC Motagua and Real Esteli FC, one Real Esteli FC player has tested positive for Covid-19. The individual concerned has been isolated from the team and has been advised of all CONCACAF protocols and laws and regulations imposed by local authorities.
All other Real Esteli FC players and staff, as well as the entire FC Motagua delegation and the match officials, have tested negative for Covid-19.
The match will be played as scheduled tonight at 10:00 pm ET.
