Together Blue: New UMBRO made Everton FC 2017/18 Home Kit revealed!

Kit maker UMBRO and English Premier League side Everton Football Club have revealed the club’s new home kit for the upcoming 2017/18 season.

Crafted in Everton’s traditional blue, the new shirt celebrates the strength of the club’s local connection with their first team stars, and is accompanied by a video with the message: Together Blue.

The inspiration for the Together Blue story is club legend Dixie Dean, a lifelong Evertonian who saw his first match at 8 years old and famously ran 2.5 miles from his home to sign for the Club, before going on to score 349 goals in his twelve years at Goodison.

This local passion remains evident in Everton’s first team squad today, where players such as Ross Barkley, Leighton Baines, Tom Davies, Jonjoe Kenny and Joe Williams continue to represent the fans. As part of the Together Blue message, these players proudly reveal their own stories of how they grew up a Blue, in the accompanying video.
Cementing the link between Evertonians across the football generations, the new shirt also features a silhouette motif representing Dixie Dean on the back of the neck – as chosen by Evertonians earlier this season in a fan vote through the Club’s official Fans’ Forum.
