After an excellent season in the Spanish Liga and qualification for UEFA Conference League (the fifth consecutive qualification to European competitions), Real Sociedad has revealed a new Home shirt for the 2024/25 season. Marking the seventh year of technical partnership between Macron and the San Sebastián club, the new ‘Home’ kit pays homage to the origins of Real Sociedad, and is embellished with stylistic details that hark back to a bygone era in the sport.
Real Sociedad’s new Home shirt for 2024/25 comes in blue and white vertical stripes. The most striking design feature is the retro-style blue polo neck, with fake white drawstrings reproducing the style of the Basque club’s uniforms in the first half of the last century. The inside neck label is customised with the colours and logo of the club, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed in the Emilian capital where Macron has its HQ.
There is also a clear reference to the Basque identify of the ‘Txuri-Urdin’, with the Basque Ikurrina flag appearing behind the neck. The ‘Home’ kit is completed by white shorts and socks with horizontal blue and white bands.
The Slim Fit shirts are made mainly from Eco Softlock with a panel of Eco Micromesh in the back and Eco Mesh inserts for reduced weight and perfect breathability.
Like all the game sets that Macron produces for its partner clubs, Real Sociedad’s new ‘Home’ kit is made in Eco Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled plastic and certified according to the Global Recycled Standard. A confirmation of Macron’s and Real Sociedad’s commitment to sustainability and the environment.
