VfL Wolfsburg & lighting partner Trilux to continue cooperation!

VfL Wolfsburg will continue to have one important teammate by its side. The Green-and-Whites and lighting partner Trilux have extended their partnership, which has been going since 2012, by a further three years until 2025. Trilux light fixtures are used in the home dressing room, the players’ tunnel and the VIP area, among others, and the company from Sauerland will continue to fit out many spaces at the Volkswagen Arena, AOK Stadion and VfL-Center in the future. As VfL Wolfsburg’s official climate partner, Trilux also plays a leading role in the Wolves’ ‘Race to Zero’ initiative. With its innovative and intelligent LED solutions, the lighting manufacturer makes an important contribution to sustainability both on matchdays and in everyday office life.

“When you’ve been collaborating with a company so closely for 10 years, then that speaks of a very reliable and trusting partnership,” said VfL managing director Michael Meeske. “We appreciate that very much with Trilux. As a market leader in the professional lighting sector, Trilux stands not only for outstanding quality of product. In our drive towards climate neutrality – in which we’ve set high, measurable targets – it’s also very important for us to have the right experts by our side. We’re therefore very pleased that we can continue to plan with this strong partner.”

Trilux is based in the North Rhine-Westphalia town of Arnsberg. The company, founded in 1912, has a sales market of over 50 countries and employs over 5,000 staff worldwide. In the VfL sponsor family, Trilux operates as the official climate partner as well as a member of the PartnerPool. One of several components of the partnership with VfL Wolfsburg remains the naming rights for the Trilux Lounge in the VIP area. The joint organisation of various B2B events is also planned.

“The excellent, collaborative partnership with VfL Wolfsburg is no accident, but rather the result of shared values and goals,” said Joachim Geiger, CSO and CMO of the Trilux Group. “We’re united by a long tradition, a strong attachment to our local area and, above all, a consistent striving for excellence. In this we both pursue the same strategy: optimum performance through skill, passion and teamwork. I’m proud of this partnership, which both parties actively contribute to, and I’m looking forward to many more years of exciting activities as the official lighting partner of the Wolves.”
