A young Indian national football team scored a vital 1-0 win away to Laos at the National Stadium in Vientiane on Thursday, June 2 in the first-leg of their 2019 AFC Asian Cup Playoff Qualifier. Interestingly it was India’s first away win in a qualifier since a win in Brunei in 2001.
The second-leg is slated to be played at the Indira Gandhi Athletics Stadium in Guwahati on June 7.
