A few years ago Malsawmfela was one of India’s brightest young footballers, but due to injuries and other issues, he had to go back to his native Mizoram and now plays for one of the Mizoram Premier League’s top teams in Chanmari FC.
In an Independence Day Cup match against Chhinga Veng FC on Saturday, Malsawmfela scored a brilliant long range shot over the rival goalkeeper into the net from close to the halfway line.
