FC Goa are gearing up for upcoming Super Cup under assistant coach Derrick Pereira while Spanish head coach Sergio Lobera is away on ‘paternity leave’.
At the press conference at Bambolim stadium in Goa on Thursday, Pereira expressed confidence in his boys’ chances at the knock-out tournament to be played in Odisha. “FC Goa will continue to play in the same formation, same style that the Gaurs have been used to since the beginning of the season,” said the experienced Goan coach, who assisted Lobera in the ISL-4. All players are well motivated and are taking the Cup competition seriously, according to Spanish midfielder Edu Bedia and Goan winger Mandar Rao Dessai.
FC Goa will face ATK in their first match on April 3.
