As XtraTime reports, the women’s team of Kolkata giants East Bengal FC lifted yesterday the Kanyashree Cup with a 1-0 win against Sribhumi FC in the final.
One of the heroes of the final was East Bengal Women’s captain and goalkeeper Buli Sarkar, who despite a head injury played through the whole game, making some crucial saves, but after the match she was send to hospital for a check-up and she missed lifting the trophy.
