The Indian Football Association (West Bengal) on Saturday, July 15 unveiled the Calcutta Football League trophy at a press conference.
This is the first time a running trophy has been introduced in the century-old Calcutta Football League.

This silver trophy weighing seven kg has been gifted to the state football association by Satyendra Food Products.

The secretary said that any tournament carries its trophy. Tournament trophies such as the Durand Cup, the IFA Shield carry on its heritage. But for so long there was no running trophy of the Calcutta Football League. He hopes this beautiful trophy will carry on his legacy.
