1.FC Union Berlin & adidas extend their partnership!

1.FC Union Berlin and adidas have agreed on an early extension of their successful partnership. The cooperation began in the 2019/20 season with a shoe partnership, then since summer 2020, the distinctive three stripes of the global brand have adorned the entire playing and training gear of all Union Berlin teams.

The new contract, which runs until 2030, was signed by Union President Dirk Zingler and adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden at the headquarters of the Franconian sporting goods giant in Herzogenaurach.

“The development of 1.FC Union Berlin has been very impressive. Union are likeable, and successful, and we are very much looking forward to our continued cooperation. Together, we will continue to ensure that the enthusiasm for football, both in Berlin and beyond the city limits, remains great,” said Bjørn Gulden, CEO of adidas.

“adidas are a strong partner that have worked with us for many years,” said Dirk Zingler, president of 1. FC Union Berlin, at the signing of the new contract. “The long-term continuation of our cooperation gives us strength as a club – we are proud of this partnership and look forward to our further years together.”
