The draw for the second round of the DFB German Cup (DFB Pokal) 2022/23 was held tonight with the draw carried out by Paralympic swimmer Josia Topf, while DFB President Bernd Neuendorf acted as the observer at the ARD studios in Cologne.
The top clash would be between Bundesliga side FC Augsburg against record champions Bayern Munich, while defending champions RB Leipzig are set to host Bundesliga 2 side Hamburger SV.
The matches would be played on October 18/19 across the country with the smaller clubs looking to welcome their more established opponents.
