AFC announces end of media rights partnership with Eleven!

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced today that it has agreed to bring its media rights agreement with Eleven Sports Network to an early conclusion.

Eleven was the AFC’s principal partner in several Southeast and East Asian territories – Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand – but, following the restructuring of the Eleven business, the parties have agreed that alternative platform(s) for the AFC competitions will best serve football fans in the region.

Football Marketing Asia Limited, the exclusive commercial partner for the AFC’s competitions in 2021-2024 and 2025-2028, will now market the media rights in the above territories, which include comprehensive rights to the AFC’s flagship 2023 AFC Asian Cup competition as well as the next two seasons of the AFC’s club competitions (including the AFC Champions League).
