Hosts Tajikistan took the lead as early as the 3rd minute to stun the Indian colts as a one versus one chance was converted with ease by the Tajik attack force to make the scoreline read 1-0 in their favour.
Tajikistan pressed against the Indian colts and dominated possession in the midfield. The hosts doubled their lead in the 33rd minute, before India halved their deficit in the 59th minute when Eric blasted home from the penalty kick as the full-time scoreline read 2-1 in Tajikistan’s favour.
