The All India Football Federation condoles the death of former AIFF Treasurer, Executive Committee Member, and ex-Gujarat State Football Association President and Secretary, Hardevsinh Jadeja, who passed away in the wee hours of Friday, March 8, 2024, after a brief illness. He was 79. He is survived by one son and one daughter.
Condoling Jadeja’s death, AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey said, “It is sad to know that Hardevsinh Jadeja is no more. He remained one of the ablest administrators of Indian football. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult hour.”
AIFF Acting Secretary General M. Satyanarayan said, “Jadeja ji was one of the foremost football administrators of his time and was active in taking up responsibilities while in the AIFF. Apart from being the Treasurer and an Executive Committee member, he was also a great success as the Manager of the Indian Senior Men’s National Team during the tour of England. I, along with the entire Indian football fraternity, condole his death.”

I will always remember Jadeja uncle on our England Tours of 2000, 2001 & 2002.
We managed a number of issues & challenges on what were historic #IndianFootball team tours in those days.
