The AIFF Accreditation Application deadline for Academies and Football Schools in India has been further extended till May 10, 2016.
All applications from interested Academies along with supporting documents on the marking criteria and demand draft in favour of All India Football Federation should reach AIFF by close of business on May 10, 2016.

So what’s the idea behind registering an academy ? Will the academies get any help from AIFF(funding?) or this is just for academy i-league ?
No funding. And why would the AIFF fund private academies?
The idea is to ensure that Academies across India have a certain quality and standard before they can participate in the U-15 and U-18 Youth Leagues.
