Aizawl FC re-sign Nigerian defender Kareem Omolaja Nurain!

Former I-League champions Aizawl FC have re-signed experienced Nigerian defender Kareem Omolaja Nurain ahead of the 2018/19 season.

28 year old Lagos-born Kareem Omolaja Nurain is an experienced campaigner in the Indian circuit after having come to the country in 2009 joining Jammu & Kashmir Bank.

Thereafter he played for numerous clubs across the country in JCT Mills, Royal Wahingdoh FC, Southern Samity, Green Valley FC, LoneStar Kashmir FC, Karbi Anglong Morning Star FC, Mohammedan Sporting Club, Minerva Punjab FC and Tollygunge Agragami.

In summer 2017, Kareem Omolaja Nurain had joined Aizawl FC from Minerva Punjab FC to replace fellow Nigerian Eze Kingsley Obumneme, who was a reason why the club was able to win the I-League title a season earlier. After 17 matches and six goals as a centre-back, Kareem returns to Aizawl FC for another season.
