The partnership between Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen and security service provider Securitas is to continue for years to come. Both parties signed a contract extending the partnership between the Werkself and long-term partner from July 1, 2023 for at least three years to June 30, 2026. The contract also includes an option for an additional two years.
“Securitas is one of our biggest and most important service providers on the financial side,” said Fernando Carro as chairman of the Bayer 04 board in underlining the significance the new agreement. “The sector of security in particular is of the utmost significance for a football club like ours being active both at home and abroad. The knowledge of the multifaceted ability of the proven partner makes our connection to Securitas particularly valuable.”
For the CEO of Securitas Sport & Event, Dirk Dernbach, the ongoing close relationship with Leverkusen is “a classic example for a mutual relationship built up over many years and one that can also be relied on in difficult times.”
In addition to managing the match and training activities of the Werkself players, Securitas is also responsible for the relevant functions with the Bayer 04 Women’s team and the U-17 and U-19 youth teams. In addition, Securitas supports Bayer 04 on a daily basis with security and gate keeping services.
