Bayern Munich starts cooperation with Adyen!

FC Bayern Munich has signed a multi-year cooperation agreement with the global financial technology platform Adyen. As the exclusive payment solution partner, Adyen will handle the club’s payment processing on all sales channels.

Andreas Jung, FC Bayern board member for marketing: “We are delighted that, with Adyen as an official partner of FC Bayern, we can ensure our high standards in our payment processing and always offer our fans innovative options. We are always looking to continuously improve our processes for fans, and simplifying the payment process is an important part of that.”

“We want to support FC Bayern Munich in delivering customer-oriented experiences, where the sport and the team are at the forefront and payments run smoothly in the background,” said Hella Fuhrmann, Country Manager DACH at Adyen. “Fans buying a shirt online will have the same payment experience as fans at the Allianz Arena or in the fan shop.”

The new technology will be used in particular in the areas of merchandising and stores, KidsClub, memberships, FCB TV, ticketing and at the Allianz Arena. For fans this means, for example, shorter queues at the store checkouts, as payments can be made flexibly from anywhere in the store.
