Bengaluru FC on Wednesday announced that it had signed a deal with Popeyes India. Popeyes is a global player in the fried chicken segment of the Fast Food industry, having carved a niche in the market with its authentic Louisiana-style cuisine and its world-famous products, such as the brand’s signature Chicken Sandwich. Popeyes India comes on board as the club’s Associate Partner, in a deal that runs through until the end of the 2022-23 Indian Super League season.

This popularity is an excellent match for the city’s love for its very own football club – Bengaluru FC. Founded in 1972, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Popeyes has over 3,800 restaurants located across 30 countries. The first restaurant in India opened in Bengaluru in January 2022.
