Bengaluru FC Soccer Schools have announced a tripartite agreement with the Soccer Schools of Excellence (SSE) and KheloMore to deliver football coaching by way of a technical partnership, for children across the country. The program, set to begin in October 2021 in Mumbai, will see boys and girls between the ages of five and 18 years receive coaching based on curriculums and frameworks provided by BFC Soccer Schools and implemented by licensed coaches.
In addition, the program will also include BFC Soccer Schools’ efforts to provide Coach Education for all the coaches from SSE, who will implement the coaching curriculum provided by BFC Soccer Schools. Through the club’s unique Player Development Pathway, Bengaluru FC will look to provide children enrolled with SSE and KheloMore with the best possible chance to make it to the top.
“At Bengaluru FC, our Youth Development philosophy is to give as many children as possible the opportunity to make it to the very top in sport. Through this association with Soccer Schools of Excellence and KheloMore, I am certain that we will be able to provide technical assistance that will help football grow in various cities across the country, and give more children the platform they deserve to showcase their talents and improve as footballers,” said club CEO, Mandar Tamhane.
KheloMore, a digital platform is a one stop solution that brings sports venues, academies, players and coaches together on one platform. KheloMore will provide marketing and technological support for smooth operation of the association, and will look to help expand the program to states across India over the months to come.
“KheloMore is proud to join hands with BFC Soccer Schools and SSE, two partners who share the same vision and passion for growing football and sports in India. Bengaluru FC is committed to providing opportunities to as many children as possible across the country, and Youth development is at the core of its philosophy. SSE shares the same passion to provide quality football coaching to boys and girls. KheloMore’s technology platform will provide the ideal experience for parents and children to discover, book and engage with BFC Soccer Schools Centres across India,” said KheloMore Founder Jatin Paranjape.
Over the last 11 years, SSE has provided football coaching and organised junior leagues to thousands of kids in Mumbai. Being an AIFF accredited two-star academy, SSE has given opportunities to kids from all socio-economic backgrounds to play regularly in the National Youth I-League and local tournaments.
“We are honored to become an integral part of the Bengaluru FC Soccer Schools project across the country. This partnership with BFC Soccer Schools now creates a real and clear pathway for SSE players to start learning, and loving, the game from an early age, which gives them a real chance of building a professional career, while also adding character and personality that sport brings to life. SSE looks forward to working closely with all stakeholders of the game and to play our part to further build grassroots football in our country,” said Arpreet Bajaj, Co-founder and Director, SSE.
