Defending champions France name their 2022 FIFA World Cup squad!

France head coach Didier Deschamps has named his 25 player squad in the attempt of the Equipe Tricolore to defend their title at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Missing from the squad are influential midfielders Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante besides striker Anthony Martial, while currently injured Raphael Varane has made the squad.

France go into the tournament with one of the best attacking lines in world football, but in their midfield they lack experience due to the injuries.

France will face Australia, Denmark and Tunisia in Group D.
