Two Mizo women footballers have been called up by the All India Football Federation for the 30-strong preliminary Indian football women’s team squad for the 13th South Asian Games.
Grace H. Lalrampari of Salem Veng and Esther Hmingthansangi of Zawngin were called to report to the Indian women’s national team training camp in Kolkata from November 20-29. The final squad will be trimmed down to 20 players.
Grace H Lalrampari has represented India at junior and senior levels while goalkeeper Esther has been called up once before, only to not join up the team due to passport issues.
