French GP & AXS to speak at iSportconnect’s Hospitality Masterclass!

Six more high-profile speakers have been confirmed for next week’s 2018 iSportconnect Hospitality Masterclass in London.

Alexandre Bazire (Head of Development, F1 Grand Prix de France), Giles Bayliss (Business Development Director, AXS), Mark Bradley (Director, The Fan Experience Company), Henry Staelens (CEO, Forest Green Rovers), John Rhodes (Director of Sports + Recreation + Entertainment, HOK) and Nick Leith-Smith (Architect and Principal, Forward Associates) will be participating at the event on 20th November at The Crystal.

F1 Grand Prix de France’s current Head of Development, Alexandre has more than 15 years of experience in sports marketing, sales and operations. Prior to joining French GP last year, he worked for the 2016 Olympic Games where he was in charge of dealing with all Olympic and Paralympic issues concerning France. He has also worked for Le Mans FC and PSG FC.

Giles is responsible for generating new business and raising the profile of AXS in the UK and Europe. During his 30-year career, Giles has worked on some notable projects such as the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, European Championships, Rugby World Cup and the Cricket World Cup. He has been part of the evolution of the modern day box office, from managing hard-ticketed events from a “shoe box” to the fully functional leap into present-day technology with the advent of internet and mobile ticketing.

Mark founded The Fan Experience Company in 2005. The company uses real fan experiences to create a catalyst for growth at all levels of football. As well as the English Football League, Mark’s business also works with UEFA, the FA, the SPFL, the FAWSL and the Netherlands’ Eredivisie. Mark is the author of three books, and contributes to FC Business Magazine, Sports Business International plus several other publications.

During his early career, Henry became well established as a leading entrepreneur, growing a digital marketing and professional services business. After the sale of his company, Henry became the youngest Chief Executive in professional football at the “world’s greenest football club”, Forest Green Rovers.

With more than 15 years’ experience developing high-profile venues for a range of professional sports and entertainment clients, John’s work at HOK helps to spur urban regeneration and economic development in local communities. As Director of Sports + Recreation + Entertainment, John is a driving force behind next-generation sports and entertainment venues, challenging the status quo.

Nick became a director of Forward Associates earlier this year after running his own architecture and interior design studio for 18 years. His global experience and award-winning success across multiple sectors puts him in an ideal position in today’s venue market. Nick has worked closely with Forward Associates for the past 4 years, helping to convert their strategic vision into physical reality.
