The DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga became one of the first sports leagues to be inducted into the “Sports Technology Hall of Fame” as part of the “Sports Technology Awards” in New York. According to the host and event organiser STA Group, over 100 companies across the international sports sector were in contention for inclusion in the inaugural induction into the Hall of Fame.
The final eight were chosen based on a thorough review of the innovative work these brands have done over the past ten years. Together with the DFL, the following were inducted into the Hall of Fame: AELTC (tennis/Wimbledon), DAZN, European Tour Group (golf), Hawk-Eye Innovations, NBA, NFL, Ticketmaster.
