Hero Motocorp presents token of appreciation to India U-17s ahead of FIFA U-17 World Cup!

With less than six days to go for the first ever FIFA World Cup to be hosted by India, the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, the Indian U-17 World Cup Team was presented a token of appreciation, a signed football, by Hero MotoCorp’s CEO and Managing Director Pawan Munjal today, September 30 at the Le Meridian in Gurugram, Haryana.

Mr. Munjal also wished the Indian U-17s the best of luck ahead of the young colts clash against USA in their first match of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 India. “You are embarking on an amazing journey,” the Hero MotoCorp CEO addressed the colts. “I wish you all the best and dream big, believe in yourself and let the hero inside you come out.”

“Football is the fastest growing sport in the nation and it is heartening to see the progression of Indian football,” he further stated. “Hero is now the biggest supporter of football in the country – being the main sponsor of both the men’s and the women’s national teams across age-groups, and also through the title sponsorship of Hero ISL, Hero I-League and the Hero Super Cup.”

“It is indeed heartening to see the Indian U-17 football team completely geared up to take on the world in the FIFA U-17 World Cup. On behalf of everyone at Hero MotoCorp, I wish the team best of luck.”

The Indian skipper, Amarjit Singh thanked the Hero MotoCrop’s CEO for his kind words and presented a signed jersey to Mr. Munjal. “Thank you for inspiring us and inspiring the youngsters of the nation,” Amarjit said.

“We will give it our all in the matches to come and fight to the very end,” he added.
