The U-9 category kids from Hill Top School destroyed Carmel Junior College children 6-1 in the latest week of Jamshedpur Golden Baby League action.
This comes after Hill Top School, Telco was formally inducted into Jamshedpur FC’s Grassroots Program this past week, with a healthy number of children participating in the opening week of the school’s induction.
The victorious team from Hill Top was the U-9 Ronaldo Hill Top School Jamshedpur side, as they scored goal after goal against Carmel Fighters in the U-9 age category.
The second edition of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023, hosted by Jamshedpur FC in conjunction with Jharkhand Football Association (JFA) and Jharkhand Sporting Association (JSA) has been divided into U-5, U-7, U-9, U-11 and U-13 categories for the benefit of kids across the city.
The 10-month long tournament will be held every Sunday morning at the Archery ground at JRD Tata Sports Complex to nurture development and add to the existing grassroots schools program run by the club during the week after school hours.
Week 7 saw another high attendance at the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023, with a total of 108 students participating across all aforementioned age categories.
The U-9 category saw the highest number this week, with 29 students participating, while 21 students took part in the U-5 category, 16 in the U-7s, 20 in the U-11s and 22 students in the U-13 category.
The U5s played four matches, U-7s played three matches, two matches were played by the U-9s, while one each was played in the U-11s and U-13s.
