Holstein Kiel’s Bundesliga 2 games against Hannover 96 & 1.FC Nürnberg postponed!

Holstein Kiel’s next two games in Bundesliga 2 cannot take place as planned. Since the club’s licensed team had to go into quarantine at home due to a corresponding order from the responsible health department due to COVID-19 cases, the matches against Hannover 96 (originally Wednesday, April 14) and at 1.FC Nürnberg (originally Saturday, April 17) had to be postponed. For the same reason, Kiel’s game against SSV Jahn Regensburg last weekend could not be played as planned.

As announced, the DFL will decide on the cancellation of the Hamburger SV vs Karlsruher SC and Holstein Kiel vs SV Sandhausen games on matchday 30 by the end of this week, taking into account the current status. The license teams from Karlsruher SC and SV Sandhausen also recently had to go into quarantine at home as a result of corresponding orders from the responsible health authorities due to COVID-19 cases.

New game dates are expected to be announced later this week.
