Italy’s Roberto Mancini calls on 28 Azzurri players ahead of UEFA EURO 2020!

The Italian National Team will get back to training tomorrow at Hotel Parco dei Principi, before heading to Coverciano in the evening. Emerson and Jorginho will meet up with the squad on Tuesday.

The first part of their Euros preparation came to an end with a win over San Marino in a friendly, and now the National Team will return to meet up in Hotel Parco dei Principi in Rome. In the evening, they will partake in the “Notte Azzurra” show, which comes out on Tuesday, June 1 on Rai 1, before heading across to the Centro Tecnico Federale in Coverciano. At the end of their second week of work, the Azzurri face the Czech Republic on 4 June in their final friendly before the first game of Euro 2020.

For this second phase of training camp, Roberto Mancini has picked 28 Azzurri: Emerson Palmieri and Jorginho, who represented Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League last night, can take 24 hours of extra rest and will join the group on Tuesday. By midnight on Tuesday 1 June, the Coach will also announce his final squad list of 26 for the tournament.
