Jimmy Sinclair signs new Nottingham Forest deal!

Nottingham Forest have announce that Jimmy Sinclair has signed a new contract with the club.

The 17-year-old defender, who joined Forest in October 2021, has agreed terms on a new one-year deal, with the club holding an option for an extra year.

Sinclair enjoyed a successful 2023/24 campaign, making 15 appearances and scoring three goals in the U18 Premier League, as well as appearing 10 times in Premier League 2 during the second half of the season.

The full-back also featured in the EFL Trophy against Carlisle United in October.

Head of Academy Chris McGuane said, “Jimmy fully deserves the chance to continue with us, having initially joined the club a couple of years ago.”

“The staff really enjoy working with him and seeing the enthusiasm he brings each day to training to be a better person and a better player is a credit to him and his family. He is dedicated to improving and always gives his best, which has been reflected in his performance this past season.”

“We look forward to seeing him improve as a player further and delighted he has this opportunity.”
