The sports brand Joma has launched the new official jersey of the first and second kits of Atalanta Bergamo, with which the club will face the 2022/23 season. Both have been made with the latest technology that characterises Joma, always maintaining its hallmarks.
The first shirt retains the club’s hallmark identity: the black and navy blue vertical striped sublimated stripes. With it, the club is demonstrating how important identity is in the world of modern football. For them, any representative detail must be imbued on the shirt. In fact, there is the printing “La maglia sudata sempre” (“The shirt always sweaty”) on the inside of the back, which honours the culture of effort that Atalanta BC keeps in mind when playing their matches. Basically, it is a kind of warning that no matter what happens, the players must sweat it out. On the outside of the upper back, another printing with the name of the club is incorporated. In addition, there is a cover tape at the bottom again with the name and badge.
As usual, the emblem is heat-sealed on the front to avoid discomfort when rubbing against the body. For this, Joma Sportech has been used.
This is a classic style jersey with V-neck collar and regular pattern. The collar and cuffs are ribbed for a comfortable fit. It is made from 100% recycled polyester, a stretchy and durable fabric. Small perforations have been incorporated to improve the breathability of sweat, made with VTS technology. Now, Joma has transferred this technique, which was only used in footwear, to textile. Recycled mesh inserted on the underarms and sides contribute to this.
Regarding Atalanta BC’s second shirt, white continues to be the protagonist. The design is plain, with no prints, and is accompanied by navy blue and black details on the shoulders, collar and sleeves. Also, for this season, the elastic is finished in linear jacquard, with a pattern of vertical lines. There is again the printing of the legend “La maglia sudata sempre” and the name “Atalanta Bergamo”. This is a kind of warning that, whatever happens, the players must sweat the shirt. On the outside of the upper back, another print of the club’s name is incorporated.
In this case, the goddess Atalanta is embroidered in place of the badge to add elegance. Taken from Greek mythology, she has accompanied the Lombardy club since 1907, from which she takes her name.
