After its outstanding season in the Italian Serie B and its return in Serie A, Cagliari Calcio made another important step forward signing a three year agreement with Macron that, starting from season 2016-17, will be the technical sponsor of the club. The first event of this new partnership has been the official presentation of game kit for the upcoming season.
A kit that reminds the long lasting tradition of the club, with details going back to historic triumph in the season 1970, combined with the up to date details that are a trademark of Macron collections dedicated to the top teams in Italy and Europe.
The Home jersey, with traditional large stripes red and dark blue, provides great comfort with its slim fit cut while mesh inserts guarantee the best breathability. The polo collar and sleeve cuffs are in jersey while on the back neck is written: “Cagliari Campione d’Italia 1969-70” to remind the unforgettable ‘scudetto’ of Gigi Riva and his teammates. Behind the collar there’s the name of the club while the club logo is on the heart.
The Away white jersey presents two vertical red and dark blue stripes on the left side, with the club logo and ‘Quattro Mori’ embroidered over the stripes. Collar and cuffs are in jersey while under the collar you’ll find written: “Cagliari 1920”.
Last but not least has been presented the Third jersey, in green fluo with red and dark blue details. As in the Away one, also the Third jersey presents collar and cuffs in red and dark blue jersey, with the name ‘Cagliari 1920’ embroidered under collar.
